Wow, worst flirt ever (ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ) Follow Gail but don't ignore the existence of the person in the corner
(b4 people get confused im not using idols for the characters in this, although this was originally scheduled to be a dc fic that i scrapped bc i couldn't get the concept to work right. but! there references scattered here and there : )))) )
Gail pushes you over to the table. Josh, presumably, waves. His square brown face spreads in a gap-toothed grin. "Mornin', Gail," he says. "And mornin', newcomer. Welcome to Halo Hospital." His curly black hair falls in front of his face, but you can see that he's got bright brown eyes. "This is Sanwoo. I think that's what he said. He don't talk much."
Sanwoo, who's got bleach-blonde hair and a crooked nose, waves shyly, and doesn't speak. He doesn't meet your gaze. "It's good to meet you," you say to both of them, but not without casting a glance over your shoulder. The person who was staring at you in the corner is still staring at you now. You look back, a little perturbed.
Josh is pointing around the cafeteria. "There's the food line, there's the drink machine -- most of them are water, but today, we got lemonade." He sings the last word and picks up a Styrofoam cup. You realize that he's got a jagged scar running down his face. His left sleeve is pinned to his side. He catches you staring and laughs. "You like it? Got it in a bus accident."
Sanwoo grumbles like he's heard this story before. Gail giggles and says, "That poor bus didn't stand a chance."
Josh takes a sip of his lemonade. "Mm-hmm. A wheel for an arm, that's what I say."
"Would you like to get some breakfast, uh..." Sanwoo looks at you, except not really at you. He's looking somewhere behind you. You wonder if he can even see you. "Sorry, did you say your name?"
You shake your head. "I don't know my name," you say quietly.
That makes Josh laugh. "And Gail hasn't given you one yet? That's a new record. Last time it was instantaenous, and he was gone within a day."
Gail titters. "I guess I forgot. I've been busy explaining things to them. I'm sorry. Would you like a name?" She smiles expectantly, and you aren't really sure what to say. On the one hand, a name to be called would be nice. On the other, you feel like you haven't eaten in weeks. You look between Gail and Sanwoo.
