Appreciation for GOT7/ Solo Artist YUGYEOM.
For the last couple years GOT7 have been people I really admired, I'm not sure why I have it in my head that they were friends with MONSTA X / B.A.P at one point and have seen them in their videos which is how I know them but I'm also super tired so take that part with a grain of salt lol. But YUGYEOM and Mark have always stuck out to me in particular and in a good way and JayB is such an incredible leader who I admire so so so much. I'm a little angry with how YUGYEOM was treated on his tour by his horrible touring company (if you haven't seen it, he was seen exhausted saying he wanted to go home and it went viral), so I wanted to talk about the good things as I just got home from a campfire and have been in a better mood
YUGYEOM often has credits as an executive producer and is sometimes overlooked by people, not just in terms of talents, but vocals and live vocals/performances. For a lot of his releases, he appears to be heavily R&B, indie and pop influenced, using those elements within his music. According to JB/Jaebeom (I believe), YUGYEOM used to manage a lot of GOT7 things.
Shall we dance is a song and mv that when I listen to/watch it, it is so hard not to smile, sure I say a lot in these threads but hear me out lol. The styling in general for 'Interlunar' is just so beautiful. It's crazy to me that he still looks the same since I've got to know GOT7, although he does look more mature, there just something that pulls me towards him, you know?.
Truthfully I've always been 50/50 on my support for AOMG and their management, I still think his releases are amazing.
Its really hard for me sometimes to enjoy everything an artist puts out, YUGYEOM is just one of those people who its almost hard for me to dislike his releases. Its such my sound, and so hard not to vibe/dance to it.
(Honourable Mention: Running through the rain band live ver).
My favourite songs:
Shall we Dance.
Interlunar.
All your Fault. A song that features one of my other favourite singers/producers (Gray).
Summer Blues.
Its Okay
