Are you a company stan?

Sometimes people only stan groups from a certain company. Are you one of those people? Also i think people genuinely stan the companies sometimes? I dont see why you would but you can do whatever you want.

I mean i stan groups for the group not the company but at one point i was obsessed with sm groups because i played a little too much sm superstar.

I stan the majority of active SM and JYPE groups, but I wouldn't say I'm a company stan.

i find that i like pretty much all pledis artists (past and present) on some level. pledis is a shit company but if there's one thing i think they do well is recruiting and training their talent....and thats it. i'll never understand people who stan a company, much less a kpop company.

like I used to be able to say confidently I would probably like some aspect of anything released by sm bc I really liked their design and their music direction and their mvs like as a whole
that’s not really true anymore though lol. lately I’m kinda attached to jyps business model so I like a lot of their groups

I used to be a JYPE company stan because I only took things at face value and thought that they were treating their artists well. It wasn't until I saw GOT7 members complaining on IG and VLIVE about their mistreatment that I stopped stanning the company. My last straws were when GOT7 was eating and Mark asked for chopsticks but one of the staff members gave him a pair of dirty ones so he ended up eating with his hands and when JYP made JB rewrite Eclipse 15 times and he was so stressed out that he had a nosebleed. But honestly, blame the company as a whole, not just the CEO or the founder.

I honestly am all over the place when it comes to groups I stan, there is not a single company that I prefer over any other when it comes to groups.

The only companies I would ever stan are specific labels made by Idols I appreciate like KOZ which was founded by Zico or GROOVL1N founded by Ravi because the CEO is someone I have been a fan of for so long. Even AOMG/H1GHER Music are companies I know treat their idols properly, when you see them all together they look like a true family for example in H1gher Musics newest photoshoot for W (Mostly K-HH or K-RNB labels). I stan these companies because they are the place that idols run to after being able to escape from the companies that did them wrong. For Example Lee-Hi escaping from YG and joining AOMG. Their idols can create what they love and you can see their obvious happiness and it just makes me grateful and thankful that the company exists.

I don't stan any huge companies like SM, YG or JYP because they have obvious neglect and mistreatment that makes me just want to focus on the idols not the company, as if to almost ignore that the company exists as a whole.

I'm a stan of SM. I love all the artists in the company. It just makes me happy to think that SM artists are a family. That's why my top 5 groups are (In order); EXO, NCT, Red Velvet, SHINee & TVXQ.
I also quite like JYPE - ITZY, Stray Kids, TWICE, DAY6, MISS A - I stan most of the groups in JYPE, butttt, I'm more of an SM Town fan. Don't get me wrong, I love JYPE's songs, artists and overall the feel the company gives but it's how the idols are treated that bothers me. IDK, I just prefer SM.

i don't stan company's,bc most of them are trash, (looking at you yg...)but i do like kq ent. bc they manage and treat ateez very well.i would not call myself a stan tho lol

Stanning companies is dangerous imo because the companies are not the groups and we barely have any idea of what it's really like to work for them. It's like brand loyalty. Most companies aren't the best and have their major flaws; even "good" companies like Dreamcatcher Company/Happyface Entertainment have glaring flaws (namely letting the DC girls get harrassed over their name). Companies can produce good artists but then fall apart elsewhere (Cube mismanaging CLC, what happened with Hyuna and E-Dawn, the really suspicious debut of Lightsum shortly after Soojin's scandals; YG gambling Blackpink's concert money away, literally refusing to promote BP; Pledis... being Pledis; HYBE cannibalizing the entire K-pop industry as we speak). And stanning a company enables them to do bad things and have them be glossed over.

I kinda wish I was, so then I wouldn't want to buy albums from so many different groups
for a while I was trying to decide if I should only stan starship groups... but I know that could never happen-

also I wouldn't want to stan starship... I just like all of the groups under the entertainment (by all the groups I mean the ones I know: Monsta x, WJSN, Cravity, and Sistar. I know boyfriend was a group under starship... but I haven't heard any of their songs yet)
