Bebe Rexha Confirms Collab with Itzy

Following the release of Yeji and Ryujin’s Mix and Max cover of Bebe Rehxa’s Break My Heart Myself, Bebe shared her joy in watching her song skyrocket in popularity, and even getting the go ahead to promote it in Korea.

She has been super supportive of Yeji and Ryujin’s dance, promoting it to her fans and praising individuals who covered it.

Many midzys began to ask Bebe to collab with ITZY, to which Bebe seemed to express interest at the idea. While many thought perhaps it was only a possibility, some new tweets from Bebe could indicate that there may be a new version of Break My Heart Myself on the way featuring the members of ITZY!

i hope so! bebe rexha seems like a cool person; admittedly, ik next to nothing abt her, but it's the vibe lol. ik it seems unlikely for it to be soon bc of itzy's cb, but i also think it could be could promo - release a collab remix w a fairly big western artist, get ppl hyped for itzy's soon to come original music, get more album sales and ppl tuning in, and gain more western attention, which is what jyp loves anyway

Based on Bebe’s tweets, I’d assume that so far there’s only been agreement on a collab and no work made into it. So it’ll probably take time for the members to work on recording the song especially because of the upcoming promotions they’re already working on.

Or of course it’s a prank but that would be so cruel :’)

A short while after Bebe’s tweets hinting towards a possible remix of Break My Heart Myself by Bebe Rexha featuring ITZY, the official ITZY account retweeted one of Bebe’s posts sharing this:


While it could just be a newfound friendship between the artists, it’s becoming more likely that there is some sort of collaboration occurring between the two artists.

I’m a little sad it won’t be OT5 but Ryujin and Yeji were the ones who blew the song up so I understand why it’s them, and they’ll do a great job. I think their voices will suit the song really well
