Can we take a min for the groups who are about to disband(this has been confirmed by company)

Ok there are two big groups that are disbanding which are

BlackPink

It has been confirmed by yg that none of the members have renewed there
contract and that Blackpink is basically disbanded(this might change)

Kep1er

On July 3 2024 kep1er will no longer be a group reason is because
not only is it a survival show group kep1er
did not grow in popularity so as of July 3 kep1er will no
longer be a group


These two groups are disbanding soon
so can everyone take a min to say goodbye ​

Blackpink isn't disbanding, but unfortunately it has been confirmed that Kep1er members failed to reach an agreement with the companies. I think that the members that would appeal to the 5th gen the most would be Dayeon, Hikaru, Hiyyih, Youngeun and Yeseo which would probably be the quickest scouted members. Yujin probably wouldn't redebut in another group maybe go solo, Mashiro is redebutinf in limelight with Yeseo but hopefully both girls leave that company, Xiaoting has no reason to stay in Korea so most likely she's going back to china to be a model and Chaehyun maybe soloist? Or she may pull a Yeyoung and escape her company to redebut

Yeseo and Mashiro possibly will join LimeLight, Dayeon is probably gonna debut in the new Jellyfish girl group and Youngeun will be taken by another company mark my words. Hopefully these groups might receive more of the IVE/LESSERAFIM treatment, but on a much smaller scale as all are from relatively small companies.

Hikaru is confirmed not to be joining XG after disbandment, it was said by the producer himself that he likes the current lineup of 7.

Some people are saying that Bahiyyih will be taken by HYBE due to her brother already being in HYBE but if she does people will hate on her so. much. more.

Chaehyun and Yujin probably will debut as soloists + Xiaoting is probably going to return to China.
