On a recent livestream on Tiktok, Daisy revealed a continuing conflict with her former management company MLD:
"Guys, it's not that I left the group, I was fired by the company. Okay... Although it's been a while. But it's okay now, I'm fine. I don't know the reason either?"
In 2019, MLD intentionally froze Daisy's activities for more than 9 months. The female idol has repeatedly expressed her intention to return to the group, but MLD always said that she needed to rest more. Finally, the company said that Daisy should ask to leave Momoland after her dating rumors with a male idol.
After that, MLD sued Daisy for breach of contract and forced her to pay 1/10 of the production cost of the show "Finding MOMOLAND" (~ 66 million KRW). Daisy also filed a lawsuit. By October 2021, the Court ruled in favor of Daisy and forced MLD to pay all unpaid remuneration to her (~ 79,26 million KRW).
