I'm curious because I saw a lot of people unhappy about Everglow using ads for Adios, but I've never thought it was a big deal until people started complaining about it. So what are your thoughts?
Thisi have adblocker installed so i've never seen them myself, but i'm not particularly put off by it. its a marketing strategy to get their artist to a wider audience. the people i've seen mad about it often bring up view counts, but if you ask me i think kpop fans nowadays put too much weight on youtube views. sure they have their place, but they aren't more important than album sales
yes music video views (across youtube and naver if i'm not mistaken) count for a percentage for certain music shows, but album sales count for all music shows and are more important for actual revenue than youtube views. and it is true what you say about more views attracting bigger audiences. This
I've heard youtube views count for music show wins (?) dunno. Many views would help the artists/groups attract bigger audiences though I also believe album sales are more important..
