anyone else getting hit by tropical storm/maybe hurricane dorian? im scheduled for later tonight hopefully the power grid holds together and we don't lose power...but that's maybe a little too optimistic. i'll be happy as long as we don't lose water.

im ok. went to sleep shortly after starting this thread. while i was sleeping dorian went up to cat 1 but diverted its course so it ended up mostly missing my country lol feeling really smug now since i've been telling my friends for days that nothing was gonna happen. haven't checked its new possible trajectory but hopefully dorian doesnt intensify any more/hits anyone too hard.

I’m too far inland to get hurricanes, we get tornados though, but I hope everything is okay and be safe!

thanks! it probably isn't gonna hit too hard, im not very worried except about the power grid. it really isn't very reliable, even on days with nice weather, much less during a storm. but we shall see.
