You were and are my comfort idol, someone who I felt comforted by. I never thought you'd leave this earth so quickly but the moon must return back to his home one day. I can't describe the pain I felt when I heard of the news but even if you may not hear me now I want you to know you are loved. You are someone I cherish. That AROHA's cherish. ASTRO cherishes you. It was because you radiated and gave love and comfort that you have so many people who love you. You must've been in so much pain and yet we didn't see it. Moonbin, my sweet boy. I have been crying all day, so much so, my chest hurts. I’m still waiting for someone to pop up and say it was a joke, a late April Fool’s joke; and that you’re okay. But I know that won’t happen…it’s finally hitting me that you’re really gone. You were such a bright light in Astro and in all of your fans’ hearts. You did so well, so, so well. I’m so sorry us fans couldn’t protect you like we should have. Astro will always be 6 to me, no matter what happens in the future. You have a huge space in my heart and you always will. Like Grace said though, the moon always has to return to his home but you were taken home too soon. Please continue to watch over us, when the moon is full and bright, I’ll imagine it’s you, smiling down at us with that bright smile of yours. You were loved and you will never be forgotten. in light of moonbin's passing- it's okay if you distract yourself. it's okay if for awhile you just pretend like it didn't or isn't happening. you're not a bad person if you laugh at something else after hearing the news or smile or feel other feelings.

at the same time if you feel like you're wallowing in grief, that's okay too. it's a complicated process. it's hard to understand. all i know is that he'll be missed a lot.
