For those of you who are not familiar, this is James Lee, a Korean-American soloist and former member of k-rock band Royal Pirates. He, unfortunately, had to leave the band in 2017 after the consequences of a nearly fatal freak accident* but is now back to the music scene. He is a very strong person not to forget to mention incredibly talented who deserves a lot of love and attention 
*In June 2015, a restaurant's door frame fell on his hand with the conclusion to severely wound it to the point where he almost had to amputate it. Thankfully this didn't happen but he's still going through an endless routine of surgeries in order to stabilize his health...
However nothing stopped James from overcaming the cruel aftermath of the accident and making his solo debut in 2018 with his EP 'Lights'. I suggest you all to check it out, you're going to love it. Here's a first taste of his MV 'The Light'.

James is not unknown to South Korea. Apart from having his base there as Royal Pirates member, he's also good friends with many kpop idols such as Eric Nam, Amber Liu, Sooyoung of SNSD, Kevin Woo etc.
He may release more Western type of music nowadays but has confirmed himself he wants to try out Korean elements in his future releases
I believe such artists are one of the best examples to society because his message is very precious on how you should never give up and value life to the fullest!!!
