As it says in this soompi article they may not renew there contracts after all:

“On January 10, Dispatch reported that all seven members of GOT7 will be leaving JYP Entertainment.
According to Dispatch, the 35th Golden Disc Awards will be GOT7’s last activity as a group. An industry source stated, “The GOT7 members are very close. They agreed on staying together, but they disagreed on the choice of their agency. After multiple discussions with the company, they decided to part ways.””

thank goodness they're still going to be a group... if they agree on staying together, it might be that they self-manage... as jb, yugyeom, and jackson have experience in producing, and jackson is a successful solo artist, it could be possible that they start their own company. i don't think they're going to disband quite yet. and how many times has dispatch gotten things wrong, anyways?

Honestly, I'm glad they left. They have been mismanaged for the last 7 years, and probably the only reason it was brought up only last year was because they were going to leave anyway. Plus, ahgases became desperate, trying to keep the group together while wanting better treatment for them. But now they're free and off to better things. And if Yugyeom actually signs with AOMG, it would really be a blow to JYP.
