Okay so. This was a whole journey ngl.
Note: soloists who are still a part of groups and sub-units were not included. Disbanded groups were included
Place Artist Reason I like/why they're not higher Current fave song
So that was my top 50 wooo. That’ll probably change so much within like a month but as things currently stand THATS THE LIST. The 3 artists that didn’t make it are BVNDIT, Chungha and Secret Number, who are all good but just not good enough to top the list. Feel free to make your own list with your own favourites. It doesn’t have to be this long it could be 5 it could be 10 if you’re crazy it could be 100.
Please remember this is a SUBJECTIVE OPINION. There’s no right or wrong answers so I don’t want any “your taste is bad” because I will bonk you
I originally tried to do this manually but I had such a hard time balancing between attachments to artists and how good their discographies were. So I decided to use an automatic sorter LMAO. There was over 200 rounds of comparison and I ended up choosing between 53 artists so rip the 3 artists that didn’t make the list. At the end of the list I’ll say which 3 they were but not the order I ranked them. Because mystery (and coz it would just be 53 ranking if I did that).
I’m not going to lie, this list is still a mess between attachment and discography but I think it’s the most accurate I will be able to get it. I was going to format it nicely but my laptop won’t turn on so I’m doing this on my phone which hates formatting. I’ll post a link to the sorter in a post below this one.
