Kpop girl group Busters member Chaeyeon, who's only 15 years old, gets aggressively assaulted during the recording of TV show 'Boni Hani' (a TV show for children) by co-worker and actor Choi Youngsoo. As seen in the video below, Chaeyeon tries to reach for Youngsoo's arm but he responds by hitting her arm aggressively. After attacking her, he walks away. Chaeyeon tries to laugh it off at first but her smile soon fades away while she's holding her arm, clearly in pain.
Netizens are currently trending hashtag #RespectChaeyeon to spread awareness on the assault committed against her.
Following the clip going viral, both EBS (the TV show's network) and Busters' agency denied that there was any sign of violence and discomfort but that the two were just joking around.
However, a new issue occurred with another co-worker Gagman Park Dong Geun (38) calling Chaeyeon a b***h and prostitute on live broadcast.

Without being able to convince the Netizens who were furious at that point with an adult man being inappropriate towards a minor, EBS eventually took responsibility and issued an apology saying that they will be more strict and careful in order to prevent similar incidents in the future and that the two cast members (Choi Youngsoo and Gagman Park Dong Geun) have been suspended from the program.
What are your thoughts on this mess? I'll say that I'm disgusted and I wonder why they weren't removed sooner with EBS not making initially a proper research but covering it up by saying these were jokes instead.....

Some of his words were references to Korean red light district slang with a deeper meaning than they appear to have, therefore making them problematic expressions. EBS was quick to respond again that there was no double meaning in these words and these were just jokes to tease the 15-year-old
