If you don't know what Hello counselor is they are basically a South Korean TV show. That often invite kpop idols from various groups. The hosts are comedians and hear out people's problems. But throughout the years they have received many stories from people that are quite serious and they just brush it off and joke about it.

I'm going to list a few
- Girlfriend being abusive to her Boyfriend
- Mom being mean and cruel to her daughter
- Father touching his son inappropriately
And the list goes on.

The hosts usually brush it off and side with what the parents say, disregarding what the children told them.

I want to know what you think of this show.

Throw the whole show away. The one about the dad openly admitting to inappropriately touching his son really pissed me off
I can't believe people still don't report that crappy show. And the people that attend it don't seem to realize how traumatic some of the stories are. They just laugh it off which makes me mad.

Exactly and as a mother, I’m especially triggered by the episodes that have to do with mistreatment and bullying or anything with young kids.

Precisely, it angers me when they side with the parent than the child. When the child is showing clear signs of distress. They often tell them to " brush it off " " you'll overcome it " and stuff, like NO things such as bullying can lead to trauma and more. And harmful behavoiur and damage their emotional health

I still don't understand how Koreans cam watch that. Like, when GFriend were on this show, they looked disgusted and guess what? They got bashed for that. I'm honestly so confused about what's going on in Korea
Yeah, i don't think they even have a problem with it. I question them at times, but i can't say much since i'm not a person living in south korea. But it truly disgusts me how they nitpick and bully people for an apology. And see themselves as the " victim " or what not. They really out here thinking that they are god or something ( almost like sjw ) They bash people for doing the smallest of things but praise a criminal just because they are hot or something. They are biased asf. ( SOME not ALL. I'm sorry if i sound like i'm attacking people. I'm just coming at the K-nets/ vocal people out there )

I understand, not everybody is like that, but it disgusts me that people who nitpick, bully and praise those criminals exist

I watched a couple episodes. It's not good. I mean, the people who go there have serious problems that need to be fixed and the hosts don't know what they are doing. I think it could be better if the hosts were PSYCHOLOGISTS instead of COMEDIANS.

Yeah, i agree that they should had psychologists.

in korea they have a stigma surrounding mental illnesses. They treat it as a joke and think that its easy to overcome

I once saw an episode with a mother being rude about her kid , who wanted to become a rapper even though she was 32. The mother was just making fun of her child and when they were going to invite the girl onstage I just clicked off! I would feel embarrassed if I was the mother and letting my child be criticized. The hosts are extremely rude too! Idk how people watch and "enjoy" these things!!!

Wow, that is the first time in a long time that I have written so formally! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…
