She made her solo debut on October 10, 2020 with her first digital single "Poison".

She debuted as a member of BESTie on July 11, 2013 with the group's first single "Pitapat".

They performed for the last time in the military's year-end concert in 2016 and while no official announcement was ever made, it is implied the group disbanded around mid-2017.

On September 4, 2017, it was reported that Dahye, alongside U.Ji, left the group after terminating their contracts with YNB Entertainment.

She will make her solo debut on October 10, 2020. with her first digital single "Poison", a remake of Uhm Jung Hwa's song of the same name.

On July 4, 2024, Dahye announced through an Instagram post that she got back with her ex-boyfriend Seo Dong-jin after they appeared together on EXchange 3.
She graduated from Incheon Yale High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater from Dongguk University.
