I mean, if you're close enough to a star to worry about burning or radiation poisoning, you've already stopped breathing from the cold and vacuum of space anyway, sooo...

The universe is brilliant, and fascinating, and most of it will kill you.
Then there's the earth, which through tons of tiny coincidences, is stable enough to support life, but just unstable enough to keep it on its toes and encourage evolution.
