If i remember correctly the first group i stanned was gidle. Im pretty sure i found them because my little cousin was showing me wengie music videos when we watched the one for empire. I remember really liking Minnies voice so i searched up gidle on youtube that night and i really liked their music. so i started to stan them. and then i found other groups like blackpink, bts, and skz.

Blackpink because I was watching an asmr video and people kept commenting that the girl doing the asmr looked like “Lisa from BP” so I typed in “Lisa from BP” and came across Boombaya
It was girls generation
And I think like one of my friends back then use to play some kpop songs like on school trips and that’s how I first heard about them?

The first group I stanned was Twice, ofc. I..... hear me out, I discovered Twice due to..... Pokimane. Wait wait wait wait wait, didn't I tell you to hear me out!?!?? I wasn't a fan of Pokimane, I just saw a youtube video of her reacting to kpop. I liked the way Likey sounded, and the rest is history. I ain't no degen.
bts. i came across them when i was on yt and the boy with luv mv came up in my reccomended. i clicked on it, and had a good delulu phase for abt 2 years cause of them lmao
blackpink, i was at a party on my mami's phone going through youtube and saw the dux4 mv and it had recently came out, i listened to it and was instantly hooked and became a twice anti for like a week and now twice is my ult group
The first group I stanned was APink and I found it when I was looking through one of my acquaintance’s Facebook page in her likes section. She had all of these different Asian groups and artists in that section that I knew absolutely nothing about and it did intrigue me in a way. But the moment I decided to listen to the group APink was because I thought the name was quite cool. Also, it had a picture of those girls on the thumbnail who I thought looked pretty and idk it just caught my attention, so I decided to give them a listen. The first song I listened to was NoNoNo and I instantly liked it. Then I decided to go down the APink rabbit hole and Naeun at that time was my bias. The good old days.
dont remember if it was skz or bts so ill say for both. for skz was when i randomly got thunderous in my youtube feed and i clicked on it and liked it then watched a couple other mvs from them. for bts i think it was when one of my friends in like 2014-15 showed me an article about them in j-14 i think and some of their stuff, i think thats how i first heard of them or maybe it was from girls at school not sure
