hey, please don’t apologize for saying how you feel. you aren’t annoying or a burden for wanting someone to talk to, and you definitely don’t sound like an idiot. honestly, i would really love to get to know you better. i don’t want you to feel like you have to change yourself or act differently just so people will like you, because you deserve to have people who appreciate you for who you actually are.
i know saying “you have me” probably doesn’t fix how lonely you feel, and i don’t want to pretend it does. but i genuinely mean it when i say i’d like to talk to you and get to know you. we could talk about literally anything, even random stupid things, and just take our time getting comfortable with each other. i’d really like for us to become great friends, and you don’t have to prove that you’re worth being friends with.
and please don’t think you’re automatically going to lose someone just because you’re worried you’re boring or annoying. everyone has things they overthink, and you shouldn’t have to apologize for being yourself. i’m really glad you decided to say something instead of keeping all of this bottled up. you deserve to have someone listen to you, and i would genuinely like to be that person while we get to know each other
