Petite Kpop Dancers Appreciation

This thread is to appreciate some amazing dancers in kpop, who just so happen to be short in stature.
This is in no way making fun of their height, I have just noticed that some of them are more known for their height then their amazing dancing ability.
Being short is not a bad thing, in fact I wish I was shorter!
Feel free to add to this forum. However the limit is 172 cm.
This is probably also gonna turn into an essay, fair warning.
I'm also gonna say their heights are reported because we all know kpop companies lie about their idols' heights and weights.

Lee Know-Stray Kids:
So the majority of the members of Stray Kids are below average height, so Lee Know does not necessarily look short next to most of his fellow members.
However he is reported to be 172 cm which is about 5 foot 7 inches. If you need a comparison he is the same height at Wooyoung from Ateez.

I think this picture with Yugyeom, who is reported to be 183 cm or 6 foot on the dot.
However Lee Know is one of the best dancers of the 4th gen, and personally he is my favorite Main Dancer in kpop. He is also an amazing choreographer, his most notable work being the beauty that is 'Hellevator'.

Hwanwoong-Oneus:
Hwanwoong I feel like is more known for being smol and adorable but this guy has moves.
He is reported to be 168 cm which is about 5 foot 6 inches.

Here he is with fellow Oneus member Keonhee who is reported to be 181 cm or 5 foot 11 inches.
However Hwanwoong can excellently cover other kpop dances, he choreographs Oneus's dances, and he is a fucking amazing Main Dancer. Once again along with Lee Know he is one of the best dancers of the 4th gen.

Dongpyo-Formerly of X1:
Dongpyo is another shorter idol that fell victim to the 'You are short so you will be the adorable one' stereotype, which is true he is adorable, but more so he is an incredible dancer.
He is currently reported to be (he will probably grow as he is a 02' liner) 166 cm which is about 5 foot 5 inches, and fun fact 1 cm taller then me.

Here he is with Seungwoo formally of X1 and of Victon who is reported to be 184 cm of just shy of 6 foot 1 inch.
Dongpyo is astonishingly good at not only executing dances but expressing them, giving him excellent stage presence.
It seems like DSP is going to be debuting him in a new boy group soon with them dropping all of these dance covers, so I hope we get more amazing dance content from him.
His Produce X 101 dance performance to the song 'Believer' still has me shook.

Jay-iKON:
Jay is known more for being the eldest and a main vocalist of iKON, so many forget how great a dancer he is.
He is reported to be 165 cm which is just a teensy bit under 5 foot 5 inches, which also makes him the shortest male kpop idol along with Woozi of Seventeen.

Here he is with fellow member Ju-ne, who is reported to be 183 cm or 6 foot.
Because iKON is not really known as a dance group, and he is singing more then dancing in their songs, his dancing tends to be forgotten.
But he truly is incredible, especially in the 'Killing Me' dance break, damn I'm still not over it.
This recently uploaded video proves that Jay is being more recognized for his dancing, thankfully.

Ten-NCT/Super M:
How could I leave this list without mentioning one of the best dancers in kpop.
I believe Ten is one of the shorter idols out there who is known for his dance ability rather his height.
Ten is reported to be 170 cm which is just shy of 5 foot 7 inches.

Here he is with Johnny of NCT, who is reported to be 184 cm or 6 foot.
Ten is a phenomenal dancer and choreographer who can dance pretty much any style he chooses to peruse. This versatility is envied by pretty much every professional dancer on the planet.
On a side note he defines what an all-rounder should be, as his rap and vocal skills are at quite a high caliber as well.
The performance that sticks in my mind the most is his Hit The Stage 'Devil' performance:

Eunjin-Formally of UNB and currently of Bigflo:
I don't know much about Eunjin however from what I've watched of his dancing, I know that he is excellent at it, especially popping.
He is reported to be 171 cm or 5 foot 7 inches.

Here he is with the UNB maknae, Kijoong, who is a former member of IM and now a member of MBK Boys. Kijoong is reported to be180 cm or 5 feet 11 inches.
I wish that Bigflo had gotten further so Eunjin could show off his dancing to the world.
Hopefully he will be able to do this with his blossoming solo career!

Taehyun-Hotshot and formally JBJ:
I have only seen one video of Taehyun dancing but it blew my mind enough to add him to this list.
He can also do a style of dance I haven't seen any other idol do, krump.
He is reported to be 168 cm or 5 foot 6 inches.

Here he is with the maknae of JBJ, Donghan who is a solo artist. He is reported to be 181 cm or 5 feet 11 inches.
Here is the video that I mentioned before, his Produce 101 audition with fellow member Sungwoon, who eventually became part of Wanna One.
Fun fact the song they audition with became one of my favorite kpop songs (Block B-Very Good).

Felix-Stray Kids:
Felix was my first Stray Kids bias just cause he got my attention first with his deeper than the Mariana Trench voice, and that's all I really thought of him. Then I saw a video of a 'Side Effects' stage and I was impressed.
Just like Lee Know people don't think about Felix's height cause pretty much everyone in Stray Kids is below average, however he is reported to be 171 cm which is about 5 foot 7 inches.

It was hard to find a comparison photo, but here he is with Lee Know (172 cm) and JYP who is reported to be 185 cm which is a tad below 6 foot 1 inch.

Yoojung-Weki Meki, Formerly of IOI:
Finally a female idol, ikr, I'm mostly a boy group stan so I had more male idols come to mind.
Yoojung is more known for being adorable, which she is, then her amazing dancing ability.
What impresses me most about her thought is that she is a true all-rounder. In IOI she was a lead dancer, rapper, and vocalist, and she fulfilled these positions excellently.
Yoojung is reported to be 157 cm which is 5 feet 2 inches.
*For this thread the cut off for female idols will be 158 cm*

Here she is with fellow Weki Meki and IOI member Doyeon, who is reported to be 173 cm or 5 feet 8 inches. Fun fact Doyeon is the second tallest female idol, only behind Aisha of Everglow (174 cm).
Something about Yoojung which really impresses me are all the kpop cover dances she knows, and it's not just girl group dances. She knows them by heart and executes the perfectly! As someone who learns kpop dances I know how difficult it is to memorize them and perform them just like the idols did.

Yukyung-Elris:
Yukyung is an incredible dancer but she is actually more known for being the kpop idol who weighs the least (37 kg-81 lbs).
However like I said she is amazing at dance and has performed really well in the rhythmic gymnastics category at ISAC.
She is reported to be 156 cm which is 5 feet 1 inch.

Here she is with the maknae of the group Karin, who is reported to be 170 cm or 5 feet 7 inches.
Finding dance videos of Yukyung was a bit difficult because of how unknown Elris is *STAN ELRIS THEY JUST HAD A COMEBACK* however I think I found a good one which really shows her technique.

Woozi-Seventeen:
Woozi is definitly and idol known for pretty much everything but dancing. His amazing producing/song writing skills, his beautiful voice, his natural adorableness (no matter how much he hates it), and of course his height.
What many don't know is that Woozi was considered to be in Seventeen's preformance unit, however he was needed in the vocal one.
I personally would rank him best dancer in Seventeen, behind the performance unit.
Woozi is reported to be 165 cm which is 5 feet 5 inches, which makes him the shortest male idol along with Jay of iKON.

Here he is with fellow member Mingyu, who is 187 cm, which is just shy of 6 feet 2 inches. Fun Fact: This means Seventeen is the group with the largest gap in height in kpop (at least to my calculations/knowledge/the accuracy of reported heights).
Woozi really is a talented guy if you just look at the songs he has produced, but add in his dancing skill and damn just overflowing with talent.

Ok Part 3:

JinJin-ASTRO:
So ASTRO has to be one of the best dancing groups in Kpop, they were my first group and there dancing was what really drew me into kpop. However when it comes to dancers in this group, people usually think of Rocky and Moonbin, both of which I believe are some of the best dancers in the 3rd gen. But, JinJin who is also the leader and Main Rapper also serves as a lead dancer, and a phenomenal one at that. I originally wasn't going to add JinJin because I knew he was taller than 172 cm, but not by much. However, I found myself on the ASTRO profile yesterday and was really surprised that the members reported in a Vlive that JinJin is actually 169 cm or 5 foot 7 inches, which now makes him eligible for this list.

Here is JinJin with ASTRO's giant maknae Sanha, who is reported to be 184 cm or 6 foot.
JinJin is an incredibly talented dancer, and also a fantastic rapper and a great leader for ASTRO!

Feeldog-Former Member of BIGSTAR and UNB:
Feeldog hasn't had much luck in the kpop world, despite his amazing dancing, rapping,singing, and leadership skills. I personally didn't know he existed until I started watching 'Hit The Stage'. I then returned to him when I became interested in 'The Unit' and UNB. You wouldn't think he would be reported to be 167 cm or 5 feet 6 inches because of how large his presence is while on stage.

Here he is with fellow UNB member Jun, who is reported to be 185 cm or 6 feet 1 inch.
Right now it doesn't seem like Feeldog is participating in any group/solo ativities after leaving his company in July. He might be in the military, but idk I can't really find any info. Let's hope he can return to the kpop scene with his fantastic dancing and rapping!

Bang Chan-Stray Kids:
I think we all know that Bang Chan is an amazing all-rounder and probably one of the best leaders ad idol producers in kpop. And just like Lee Know and Felix people tend to not recognize his height because the majority of Stray Kids are below average in that category. This extremely talented man is reported to be 171 cm or 5 feet 7 inches.

Here he is hugging GOT7's BamBam, who is reported to be 178 cm or 5 feet 10 inches. If you didn't already know Bang Chan had trained with GOT7 predebut and almost debuted with them, however JYP didn't think he was ready yet. (Which I am really thankful for because Stray Kids wouldn't be what it is now without Bang Chan).
So there aren't many videos that really highlight his dancing abilities that I would want to post, however one of the things that indicates an amazing dancer is if they are an amazing choreographer (like Lee Know). So here is a video of a really funny dance he choreographed the majority of, and his dancing in it is also quite phenomenal as well.

Han-Stray Kids:
Yeah sorry this is kinda turning into a Stray Kids free for all, but the majority of the members could have a dancing position in a different group if they don't already have one.
*Same thing here where almost all of Stray Kids is below average height, so the difference is not really noticeable.*
Han doesn't have a dancing position, but he is another all-rounder and amazing producer/song writer who his really proved his dancing abilities in performances, and some dance breaks he has been the center of.
Fun fact Han wrote the lyrics to Hellevator, and Lee Know choreographed the routine for it...my Mingsung heart!
Han is reported to be 169 cm or 5 feet 7 inches, making him the second shortest in the group.

Here he is with fellow member Hyunjin, who is reported to be 179 cm or about 5 feet 10 inches and a half.
Han and Stray Kids in general are phenomenal idols who seem to be good at everything, despite if they have a position or not. Han in particularly wowed me with his center role in the dance break in 'Double Knot'.

One of my favorite is AleXa. This girl can dance her BUTT OFF and her songs are fire!!!! She was a competitor on Produce 101 Season 1 and she is now the first debuted artist from ZB Label. She is amazing! She is half Korean, half Russian who grew up in the United States. She is a lovely and fun person who can DANCE!!!! (She is also so beautiful)
