I'm sure people have already posted about it, but just seeing the diversity of people just on here, I wanted to know: has anyone ever really been helped by listening to kpop or seeing the idols?
Also, does this even fall under random kpop talk?
Yes because it can be very comforting in times of sadness or stress. Just to see your favorite idols face on a video can brighten up your day. Hearing your favorite singer can help you look forward to the next day and the next with unwavering determination.

No it’s not rude at all. . Yeah because it has definitely helped me move forward on days that I am stressed out or sad and I’m sure it’s like that for a lot of others.

Yes, but no, at the same time. Yes, because it could help someone, like myself, who suffers from depression as an escape, a second home, you look at the lyrics and realize “wow, there are other people like me out there.”. It makes you feel safe and feels like someone understands, especially if your family or friends don’t. However, no, because obviously music can’t solve problems, you need to get professional help.
I don’t know if that’s a good explanation, I’m terrible at explaining things.
In 2013 i was really depressed and suicidal listening to kpop helped me feel better about my self. Also the extremly supportive fandoms and kpop comunity in a whole makes me feel less anxious and talking to people that like the same things that i do makes me feel less alone.
Sorry if it doesnt make any sense i typed this really quickly.
