NCT's Taeyong accused of homophobia, insulting a gay student in graduation album

A lot of those accusations seem to be pretty horrible.
But the internet and social media itself are horrible in spreading false news too, so I wouldn't like to jump to conclusions too soon. Sadly there are a lot of mean and envious people out there who wish others harm and spread rumours so you can never be too sure unless there is proof...



I just watched the part where he apologized and I have to say it made me teary. I could feel his sincerity and that what he had done in the past was still plaguing him.

I don't know too much about him or NCT but I hope that there will be more information about the new accusations soon...

I hope so too... He's a really wonderful person and super sweet, probably because he saw how much he hurt other people and how that affected him when he debuted. I hope that proofs of whether happened or not come up soon

Okay but I want to show you guys something.

About all the "NCTzen's comments" ( which I don't think are NCTZEN'S but just some antis ) everybody who said "Taeyong said 2ne1 is porn" and bullshit, it's not true at all. If it is true, where is the proof ? There is no proof, people just say and spread rumors. The internet is a dark place, everybody will spread fake rumors to bring other people's success down. The fact that people brought this topic just before his SuperM debut instead of exposing him before is itself very funny. The homophobic letter tho, he did state it was true. But his letter was to his closest friend.

And if you have watched his videos, he cried and apologized many times. It was only in the end that he said "it must be very hard for you to like me, thank you for liking and supporting me". The whole video is him saying how he has done wrong in the past. I don't get how someone said the whole video is him thanking his members for supporting him ? He has changed a lot. He has done wrong in the past, everybody does, and that's why thousands of people thrash and bully him online, sending death threats and calling NCTzens 'thirsty 13 year olds who wants to support our homophobic oppar'.

If you have done wrong in the past, can you go back to the past and change it ? The only thing you can do is apologize but people can't even accept that. They thing idols are Gods who has never even done a mistake.

Also he was never under pressure to APolOGize. His apologies was very sincere. If you check out NCT vlogs, you'll see he has become really quite and caring.

NCT Taeyong did have some troubles back then, but most accusations writin on this thread is highly false been.... i also dont think its right to bring up the past, unless necessary but most times it not. He a better person he changed for the best. I cant believe this was writin in October and never saw it

im a lesbian myself, and i think him bullying a gay person was fake. i heard from a korean on akp or something like that they read the note and his name is spelled wrong, its spelled "Lee Taeyon" people are saying he was just stylizing his name but honestly nobody stylizes their name until its something way different. and also the note was made near when taeyong made a note in his smrookies times and the handwritings were very different. i would show picture proof but i currently dont have the pics rn. i found this information on allkpop though. i just think people shouldn't be so quick to judge unless they actually know what the note says or can read korean.

I've seen similar situation with my own eyes, that's why I'm telling this! This people are scared of others being different and I ask this: WHAT'S THE PROBLEM BEING DIFFERENT? right and ppl wonder y its so hard for ppl who are what they say "different" "disgrace" ect. to open up or come out of the closet bc of THIS! PPL ARE SCARED OF BEING JUDGE FOR BEING DIFFERENT! BUT THEY CAN'T TELL US WHO TO LOVE, what GENDER we should love like........shit like THIS PISSED ME OFF!

I know I'm a little late to this thread but I feel I have something to say in addition to what everyone has previously said. Firstly, I love NCT. That will never change. And what one member does should not cause people to not stan or stop stanning. One member's actions or beliefs do not define the whole group. If people were to hate on NCT as a whole because of Taeyong, that would only needlessly and unfairly punish the others who haven't done anything wrong or expressed the same viewpoint. Secondly, Lee Taeyong is a person first and foremost. Kpop idol second. Like everyone, he has a past filled with things he shouldn't have done or said but who doesn't? That's why we're human. And like a good human, he has learned from his mistakes and is genuinely sorry for what he's done. But people trying to drudge up the past with rumors and accusations, both real and fake, is not going to help anyone. If he really did something and someone is trying to get an apology, then fine. But running his name through the mud for the sake of discredit is terrible. Things like this is why idols quit or do worse to themselves. I don't think people realize how fragile Korean mental health is. It's not an easy to talk about subject like it is in other countries. So adding in the intense stress put on by the public and fans to be perfect with slanderous rumors and some real damage can be done to an idol. In the end, we should keep that in mind before we start believing things that may ruin or end an idol's life without proper proof or varification in any scenario.
