Why I hate biasing. (rant)

okay, this is just my opinion plz let me know what you think as well!

When I got into kpop and expanded the groups I stanned I always chose my bias and it would fluctuate a lot
For example, when I got in ATEEZ, I biased Seonghwa and Yeosang
ANYWAY I've recently discovered that biasing is essentially pointless if you like all the members of a group
For example in stray kids my bias was Seungmin but because I love all members I didn't actually bias Seungmin.
I totally understand that people can pick a bias if they feel like they have a special connection to a member (like in bts I personally relate to Taehyung a lot)
But some people's bias lists are actually dumb
if you're going to bias, then bias ONE member or TWO
I hate when I see bias lists and they literally list 4 members out of 6 or 3 members out of 5 ect
I just don't understand it, I guess it might make sense with big groups like nct or the boyz but if you bias everyone in a group except for two members then it's a little stupid

Sorry if this is a little angry I just don't get.

For the groups I stan I don't have biases anymore because I love all members

I agree but I don't think you should use a member's bias list from this forum as an example, in case the member in question sees this, I don't want any drama or confrontation to happen.

I will personally say that i like 4/6 members of like oneus because 2 of them i don't connect with, i don't get excited when i see them...my entire huge bias list isn't really based off like i find this guy hot or this guy hot...i love alllll of ateez, but i'm more drawn to san..I don't think a bias list means anything really just who a person likes in the group. I made my list and it's on my profile because i get asked a lot who i like in the group i like so many damn groups i can't keep up half the time...If i only like half the group or more than half than chances are i'm not feeling anything for the others in the group. I also put the names on my list in the order I like them, so instead of "entire group" i put them in order...it's an ocd thing

Thanks, I understand why people do this a little better now, I still don't entirely agree but I get where you're coming from

For me I only have 1 bias in each group, the member I feel the most connection with. And then several bias wreckers.
Of course with each group I stan I love every member, but idk my biases just stand out. I've never been in a situation where I bias the whole group I guess?

Well I personally don't think it's much big of a deal as long as every member of the group is respected. If someone may feel like biasing the whole group, I think that's even better when equal love is given to everyone.
