I just read a bunch of things about Lana even though this is late. I personally don't think she should have debuted this soon and solo. I honestly thought she would have been better off without being in kpop, I'm not a fan of people that don't have at least half of Asian blood or been raised around Asian culture to be in kpop because it's a place where Asians can shine. Of course, no one should receive any hate. This is just my opinion what do you guys think?

It kinda bugs me seeing non Asians doing kpop but I'm not entirely against it. I agree that she shouldn't have debuted so soon and especially solo. I've heard she almost even got her first win, that annoyed me more bcs there are kpop idols/groups who've debuted long time before her/have more experience/are more talented and they haven't had their first win yet. She needs to improve a lil for getting a win in my opinion 🙏

Well, she's been living in Korea for some time, so I think it would be dumb of her to move out just to make music, so her debuting in kpop isn't that bad for me. She needed more training - I do agree. She would be better in a group - Yes, she isn't that good to hold a whole song by herself. I think that, if she trains more, she could be pretty good, not the best tho. She also needs to get confidence on stage, but she'll get that. So overall, she needed some more training and better management (mixing and editing of Take The Wheel were, let's say the truth - bad), but she doesn't deserve the hate she gets. My opinion tho.

About that win situation. She was 7th and people were wildin' that she got votes. She wasn't even close to winning.

Ohhh then this changes things a lot. She definitely doesn't deserve hate, none does! It's normal that some people like the song. Part of why I didn't really feel the song was of how poorly produced it was but this wasn't Lana's fault of course. I believe that with some more practice she can improve a lot. She has already showed some signs of improvement in her live performances 👌

Imo, she doesn't deserve the hate she gets. People are hating on her just because of her race which is really crappy. If Lana or anyone really wants to be a Kpop idol they have the right/choice to be. As long as they are being respectful of the culture and such i won't mind. If they want to take part in the generation of kpop it's ok c: Kpop or any genre tbh is open to anyone. ( just look at western countries U.S for ex. )
They are many artists from diff. races, it'll be ig racist to keep people out just for their race. Everyone should be given a chance :<

I'm not hating on her (just so you know) it's just she really just needs more time to practice. Also, I'm sorry if I sound racist or anything that's definitely not how I want to sound, it's just that it's my opinion and I totally respect yours. And of course, Lana should definitely not be getting the hate she is getting as long as she is good at her career and happy it's fine.

She needs stability, I think it is okay that anyone does kpop, I mean I'm very white and I would have loved to do it! She just needs a lot more training and should not have debuted this soon. Has anyone seen this? I think it is really good and the girls are from all over the world!

Yeah, i know. I'm sorry if i came off that way. I didn't intend to sound that way towards you.

Well she kinda does tbh, but she'll improve over time ( hopefully )She just started her career and people expect too much of an idol. Everyone has opinions, and that's fine. And no, no one deserves to be hated on, but imo Lana isn't strong enough ( as in her vocals and such ) to be a soloist. She's better suited as a group member. She's put on the spotlight since it's her only and no one else.
