I read fanfiction and man have I seen some horrible things.
I sometimes click on something without reading the tags and just read really gross stuff.
Like r*pe, incest, underage idols engaging in s*xual acts, and some really really weird kinks.
People even right stories about idols being littles and their caregiver idol engaging in s*x.
There's also the omegaverse which you need to be very careful about. It can easily lead to writing situations that lack consent. It also feminizes male idols, which is also not really okay if they don't appear to want that.
It's ok to write fanfiction with idols in them, but in terms of sexual content, you need to limit yourself and have boundaries.
There is a very fine line where privacy lies.

there definetly is, and again i really dont mind regular fanfictions with no sexual content added. But when you do this it really disrispects the idols and shows no love. If you really loved and respected them you would never go to for far for an idol you love. They are human too and no one likes to be sexualized by people and especially when they are a fan than the group really loves the fans :/

your right, and like what @Pisces_felicia0301 said about what happened to nancy's momoland. I've never heard of that and i really like momoland so that's really not right :/ people changing should be kept in privacy not video taped

If I was of legal age, it probably wouldn't bother me, if I am being honest...but if I was a minor like TXT or NCT Dream members...yes, I would be grossed out.

Omegaverse fanfictions are the peak of toxic relationships in fanfiction. It heavily implies dominance and submissiveness which leads to a lack of consent. It also attempts to enforce 'gender norms' by making on of the idols the feminine omega and the other the masculine alpha. Some writers even change the age and body build of idols to fit these parts. They also sometimes give the omegas different private parts to enforce this standard. The omegaverse also kinda enforces the idea that men can't control themselves and that women are weak, need protecting, and are lower in status then men are. It's hugely sexist.

Yeah, i was really uncomfortable reading it...and the amount of people in the comments saying they enjoyed it or it made them "feel some type of way" was also concerning.

i really love NCT so seeing a fanfiction like that would honestly make me feel sad they should never be treated like this. This goes to all idols that we love and respect this shouldnt be happening, and like again i really dont mind regular fanfictions with no sexually content added. that's...messed up no that's going too far everything has a limit this is so wrong i feel bad to be a part of any kpop fandom now i really love my idols :/

And a lot of it is people who are trying to live through their idols. They are projecting their own desires onto their idols through writing.
They write smut because that's what they want.
They write things like omegaverse because they want to feel protected.
Or they even write fanfictions with various mental disorders because they need to release their own ones.

This just isnt right, and if i was idol and found a highly sexual fanfictions of me i'd be upset at my fans and uncomfortable that they would right something like this. Dont get me wrong whenever i see a bts bomb and they show their chest like if the shirt is too low cut, they always cover it up and it doesnt get exposed. Which is really good this is for the sake of their privacy but there is always a different side of each fandom. The toxic side and this side who cant control themselves
