I once saw an episode with a mother being rude about her kid , who wanted to become a rapper even though she was 32. The mother was just making fun of her child and when they were going to invite the girl onstage I just clicked off! I would feel embarrassed if I was the mother and letting my child be criticized. The hosts are extremely rude too! Idk how people watch and "enjoy" these things!!!

Wow, that is the first time in a long time that I have written so formally! 😂😅
That show has some even worse moments,, there was an ep. of a Father touching his kid inappropriately constantly and the hosts just laughed it off like it was nothing. It really made me mad.

If you don't know what Hello counselor is they are basically a South Korean TV show. That often invite kpop idols from various groups. The hosts are comedians and hear out people's problems. But throughout the years they have received many stories from people that are quite serious and they just brush it off and joke about it.

I'm going to list a few
- Girlfriend being abusive to her Boyfriend
- Mom being mean and cruel to her daughter
- Father touching his son inappropriately
And the list goes on.

The hosts usually brush it off and side with what the parents say, disregarding what the children told them.

I want to know what you think of this show.
Thank you for mentioning this. I was a dedicated viewer of Hello Counselor and I was loving the show until I noticed some things that bothered me a lot when it came to the hosts, the audience and of course the guests there.
This show is publicly surfacing some of the biggest issues of general humanity. I understand that as a comedian you can't help but make jokes here and there but you need to come to your senses at this point and realize this is not funny anymore; the person you're facing is going through a nightmare and this is a situation that needs to be taken way more seriously..also it sets off a bad example to the people watching it because they get the idea that it's okay to treat people like that, that it's normal. My friend, that's a big no from me.
If 'Hello Counselor' had actual counselors instead of comedians for hosts, things would've been far more different and the show could actually have potential. To sum it up; this show needs to get cancelled asap!

I think that this show must be not cancelled, however the hosts of this show must be sacked and replaced with the deserving ones. Hello Counselor must be purely focus on the problems that people faced and must be solved by sharing an advice or guiding what's right, they must learn from Steve Harvey who is an US TV show host, comedian, producer and currently main host of Miss Universe pageant for doing advices.

Yeah, i think that cancelling a show is not good. But as a user stated above should be replaced with ppl that know what they are doing.

I used to watch Hello Counselor a lot but I've stopped. I honestly think the show is not that helpful anymore and the way they vote if the concern is a problem or not is just so wrong to me. If a problem was low voted seems it's like its not that important but it could be to the person facing it and they can be offended by the votes.
This doesn't make that much sense but I really wish they can fix Hello Counselor, if not CANCEL IT

I don't like their " votes ". There was this black man living in Korea and explained his problems about their society and his votes were really low, like ffs. The man can't even go to an elevator without having people give him the stink eye. It just shows how racist they were to him just for his skin color and it really pissed me off. Asians treat people w a darker color really badly and minimalize the problems they are going through.
I feel like they should replace the show hosts with different people and not comedians, or don't talk about topics like that
Igs, but the topics they have will always keep occurring. If there weren't " shocking " topics no one would watch it. I find it sick how they find someone's problems as entertainment. They should really replace the hosts but at the same time maybe cancel it.

Exactly, if we are going to have the show, they got to get rid of the votes and comedians

To be honest with you, I like Hello Counselor very much, cause pretty few of those problems people had to deal with, I struggled too to find a solution. I'm still watching episodes from previous years that I haven't seen and I happened to watch some episodes which were really weird, cringy and sometimes make you feel angry or furious. I understand your concern, but I think they just do what the script says. About the jokes....I think they're trying to break the serious atmosphere inside the studio-it's not good though for daily problems like you wrote above. Conclusion -> They follow the instructions of the writer, no matter what.
