Things People Are Surprised to Learn About You

what's something abt you that people are shocked or surprised to learn? i'll go first:

-i love baking (some guy once told me i didn't seem "feminine enough" to enjoy baking. like, what???)
-i'm a huge taylor swift fan. idk why this is surprising tbh, but everyone irl who's found this out has always been shocked
-my voice. i've been told by several ppl, teachers included, that my voice is a lot lower and fuller than they expected. apparently, i look someone who would speak softly and be high pitched, not sure why. my voice isn't even that deep imo
-i can read hangul (this is mostly surprising bc most ppl where i live speak nothing but english, even tho korean is actually the 3rd most spoken language in my state)
-my favorite color is pink. ig this goes back to the not being super girly thing, but whatever. colors have no gender anyway

- I am really into watching soccer. I vehemently support the club Real Madrid. I've been following them since 2018. I try to watch every game and it has led to me being quite knowledgeable about the sport. I tend to come off as someone quite girly, which I am, so the soccer thing tends to throw people. I also never played, so that can make it more surprising.
- I've had a lot of people be really surprised about my really height. My limbs are quite long so I look taller than I actually am. I'm just about 5'5 but I've been told I look 5'7 and taller. Even if I'm just sitting down, my posture and I guess the way I carry myself makes people think I'm super tall or something.

same! I typically don't curse with people who aren't close friends/family. So when I do it with new friends or coworkers they act like it's something I'm incapable of.

i burned myself at work once and said "ow, fuck" or smth and at least 3 or 4 ppl turned and stared at me lol. the guy next to me said he didn't think i would ever cuss

- I don't go to church
+ people are surprised about this because I hardly ever swear (correction, I never swear), and I guess I just look like someone that goes to church. But if you get to know me more, you will definitely be able to tell- But I think I don't swear because my parents would always try to get me to, but then if I did... they would be all surprised and excited, and then I would get embarrassed. So now it is way too late to start swearing because the surprise factor is just growing and growing over time. And also I feel like it would just come out cringey when I say them.
+ also I live in a very church-y state

- I like K-pop
+ irl, I am a VERY quiet person. So once I finally decide to let my LitTLe SeCrEt out, they get surprised... and sometimes judge.

- I am dirty minded-
+ there is literally only like 3 people in this world that know this. Like even my closest friends at the school I go to now don't even know... and my friend is trying to ask me why I like hands.... there is NO WAY I'm telling her the reason-

- (this is for my parents) I don't find every asian attractive : D
+ They fr pointed at this 40 year old guy and asked me if I had a crush on him...
