BAE173 Has put so much work into their recent comeback + recent music stages.

So over the last little bit you might have seen a couple of my posts about BAE173, from; talking about listening to them for the first time, giving my opinion/ suggesting some of their releases to those who might not have heard of them either and talking about their first full length album release.

Don't get me wrong I am NOT one to fully promote nor like a company, especially based on their history and clear evidence of mistreatment or poor management (or often times even both), but when writing my posts it just seems like a lot of effort was actually put into this comeback this time. Various sets, various outfits, challenge videos/ short form videos, behind the scenes, group concept photos and various solo concept photos with different themes. I think its really admirable they are putting a lot of effort into this, especially when its as memorable and important as the groups first full length album EVER (according to what I've read), and I just think that's really cool. (Edit to add; I do realize there was some criticsm on how one of the mvs/ description was handled but I just wanted to mention the release).

I get where you’re coming from, and it’s nice to see the group getting some attention this time around — but honestly, things behind the scenes haven’t been that great. The latest MV actually had a ton of visible mistakes, and the members themselves mentioned they had asked for them to be fixed before release, but the company went ahead and uploaded the unfinished version anyway. They took it down for a bit but barely changed anything when they reuploaded it — just minor edits to cover things up.

It might look like the company’s putting in more effort on the surface with sets and styling, but based on how this comeback was handled, the same issues with poor management and lack of care are still there.

I'm not well versed in BAE173, so thank you for correcting and enlighting me. They have some really great stuff, I hope things get better for them.

During Peak Time, Hangyul openly pleaded with PocketDol’s CEO not to send him on any more survival shows after that one. Despite his request, the company went on to split the BAE173 members — sending some to one survival show and others to another.

Two members made it into Close Your Eyes, who were preparing for their debut when PocketDol accused them of breach of contract for being unable to attend BAE173 schedules at the same time. Meanwhile, Hangyul was sent to Starlight Boys, forming POLARIX with mostly Chinese members. That group has done virtually nothing since, with the Korean members receiving little to no promotion while the Chinese members are the only ones being pushed.

After everything Hangyul has been through — years of survival shows, re-debuts, and management chaos — it’s disheartening to see PocketDol continue treating him and his group this way.

I love BAE173 I do not love their company and will never praise them. They make it very hard to be supportive. Its mentally exhausting watching Hangyul treated so poorly. He is incredibly talented.

Ps if anyone sees this thread in the future, they performed on THE KPOP as well!.
