AWWWWWWW ADORABLE :')
You two finally arrived at the mall after a drive from a taxi. Y/F/N saw a store filled with little goodies and walked in excitedly. Following along, you smiled a little from the sight of her looking at everything out of curiosity like a kitten.
Ultimately, she got herself a nice little glass piano (Shhh sweet child, don't judge my love. If I ever had one :') Moving on~~) and you a finely carved instrument of your choice.
After that, she followed you wherever you wanted to go. (Except for restrooms, cause... no. Just no. Don't even think about it.) Mostly, it was her who paid for your stuff cause she knew that you've just gone through a breakup and all that although you've resisted and argued with her until she gave in... which did not happen much. You two scanned through small shops with weird items here and there, which never happened when you shopped with your siblings/parents, so you two were really happy with the freedom now (No you two don't shop in the mall often as you two use most of your time in the library :').
Suddenly, you felt someone touching you. You flinched and turned around, only to see a child looking up at you with a pout.
"Madam... I-I-I ca-can't f-find m-my mommy" He said, trying not to cry.
"Aww... what happened? Did you two get separated?" Your friend came back from the restroom only to see such a sight.
"Awww, this child is so cute~~" She commented, making the child look up at her.
"M-Miss... I c-can't f-f-find m-my mommy..." He started to cry, causing both of you to widen your eyes.
"Do you know what's your mom's phone number?" Your friend crouched down to his level... only to make her squeal by his adorableness while you judged her from Mt. Everest. (For beans who don't get this... ehh then don't.Just kidding I wouldn't be that evil it means you're judging someone far away
"N-No... But I know where mommy lives..." He sniffled, then your friend furrowed her brows.
"Where does she live?" You asked.
"S-s-she lives across the street after a turn of this mall... but I'm too scared to cross the streets..." He mumbled sadly.
"Mmm... How old are you?" Y/F/N asked, making the child surprised.
"I-I-I'm 8, miss..."
"Hm. Interesting... Y/N, do you want to investigate, or call the police?"
"Investigate?? Can't we just bring him to his home? It's just across the streets after a turn..." You looked at her and understood what she meant. There's only one turn of the mall, which was the parking lot. And the parking lot covered that whole area. The other turn is a small alley that leads to a dead end.
Both of you had an experience of a tiny alley and dead-end... In which both wasn't the best... but your friend definitely experienced the worst and does not want it to rewind.
