Some history

In 2010, Miyeon became a YG Entertainment trainee. She was supposed to debut as a member of BLACKPINK's final lineup, however, suddenly left the company in 2015. She said that she left the company because her debut was always postponed, and she gave up waiting.

In early 2017, she joined Cube and later started training with (G)I-Idle. On April 8, 2018, Miyeon was revealed as the second member of (G)I-DLE. The group officially debuted on May 2 with their first mini album I Am.

In September 2020, it was announced that Miyeon would make her acting debut in the web drama Replay.
