It is with a heavy heart that I bring the news of Buck-Tick’s Atsushi Sakaurai’s passing.
57 year old Atsushi Sakaurai fell ill at a live concert on October 19th, 2023 and was rushed to the hospital. Tragically, a few hours later at 11:09pm, Atsushi succumbed to his injuries, which was ruled as a brain stem hemorrhage.
The sudden passing of such an iconic Visual Kei and rock vocalist has shocked and stunned all of Buck-Tick’s fans.
Atsushi had celebrated his 35th anniversary of being in the music industry this year and there are plans to have a gathering to remember all of his contributions to the music industry.
