Han apologized, but it still doesn't make that okay. He may have been sheltered from things like that in his childhood, though. I'm a year younger than he was when he wrote it and would never do that, but then again I was raised around those people rather than in Korea where there are not too many foreigners. Han shouldn't get hate, but it doesn't mean what he wrote when he was young wasn't wrong.

Really, it takes a lot of courage to apologize, and I am really proud of him for owning up to his mistakes. That's something a lot of people can't do

I agree. He was very young and probably didn't understand the gravity of his words. He forgot about it and now that it has been brought back up he understands what he said was wrong. I'm glad he automatically took accountability and it wasn't just JYPE.
I hope he can learn from this situations. and that others too can learn that there are consequences to our actions no matter our age.

Just because he said a racial slur doesn't mean people can just go after him like come on half of the people in this world says them and don't get in trouble for it so why is it such a big deal and come on he was 13 like-
I get why people don't like him after that but sending hate is not something you should do and plus people do the Asian eye thing and don't get in trouble for it like celebrities do but when we non celebrities do it it's not a big deal like wtf? why do people have the time to do this when you can do something better with your time

As a Stay I understand what he did and I know it's not right but he was only 13 at the time he was just a kid, now he is 20 he is older and he realise his mistake and apologie about it. I thing that the fans need to leave him alone 'caouse he change and he is not that 13 years old boy anymore. I also saw in a few Instagram posts that there are 'Stays' who send to him death threats like wtf, I personally have not come across such, but I see that there are stays who are and that it's not right. I know that he may have mental health pronblems and now I am worry about his heatht and I hope that he is doing fine

I'm heartbroken because I never expected it but I don't expect someone at that age to know those things and why they're wrong. If you asked me a year ago when I was 13, I wouldn't be able to tell you because I didn't know. I'm happy he apologised but I'm not in the place to accept it or not because I'm not from that community.
