I have several times as a Jewish person.
One particularly memorable one is when a classmate told me that I killed Jesus. I told the teacher about it, but they didn't seem to care, so I guess they agreed. I was also 7 when this happened, so it was also very confusing.

Has anything like this happened to you?

I'm not allowed to have my beliefs at home since they don't align with my parents
Hope it's not too bad for you; I've heard too many horror stories where devoutly religious parents have disowned their kids, or worse, because of a difference in faith. Stay safe.

In answer to the question, though, no. I'm an atheist, and in the UK, not many people really care that much, to be honest. I find it ironic that we have a state religion but are largely secular, while the US has a secular constitution but is partially run by religious fundamentalists...

I was thinking about it and I forgot about a couple instances. A lot of people still draw swastikas everywhere, and someone drew one at the desk I would sit at every day in school. This was in 8th grade (13/14 years old). Again teachers did nothing about it and just gave me a wipe to clean it up.
People also think its funny to tell me holocaust jokes. 😑

Exactly. I don't know of any ancestors of mine that were killed or placed in a camp, but my grandfather served in WWII and liberated one of the camps. He spoke Russian and Yiddish so he talked to a lot of the people imprisoned. The whole experience and the war itself was extremely traumatizing for him. Especially as he was an army doctor.
