I noticed each person seems to define the line between being a stan and being a fan differently, so I'm curious at which point you consider yourself to stan a group
For me, I don't call myself a stan of a group until I
-listen to all or almost all of their title tracks and more than half of their bsides (I don't actually do the math though, I'm just approximating)
-have interest in listening to their full discography, even if I can't get around to it right away
-know every member's name and personality
-consistently actively seek out non-musical content of the group
-watch their live performances/dances
-follow their activity
-anticipate their comebacks/listen to them right away
Which is why my stan list is so short
-ATEEZ
-XLOV
-KATSEYE
And probably Stray Kids and NMIXX at some point in the near future
- listen to the b-sides of (majority)
- can listen to songs over and over and never get tired of them
- learn some choreos
- know and love every single member (i do that regardless but yeah)
- follow/keep up with their socials
I stan:
- NCT (all units)
- Close Your Eyes (though they just debuted, I stream all of their songs and I love every single one of them)
- TXT (this may change; I still listen to their music but as of recent comebacks, I have been extremely slow to listen to the new tracks/albums)
- CORTIS (Same as CYE)
- Riize
yeah that's about it, but i do listen to a ton of other groups. Js not as much as these
~know every single member without hesitation
~Listen to half their songs
~I don't get bored of their music
~Know sum choreo
~Watch sum of their content as non music or just performances
~Follow them on tiktok/insta

For me it’s whatever group I keep up with so it’s usually 1 or 2 at a time but I’ll listen to like any group and learn the members I just don’t know their schedules
I only Stan loona and zb1 but I’ll listen to anybody
