How long does an author email take?

I sent the email about wanting to be an author and I was wondering how long it takes?
It's been 6 hours since I sent it and I was just curious

well...The People who are controlling it are probably busy so for now all I can say is try to be patient they have ALOT of emails to go through but they'll get to yours I promise

It's been a longer than a week, no offense but I'm so curious
