Maybe everyone gets a really specific theme (like maybe a group in particular) and see who takes that theme and is the most creative with it?

the members have a short deadline to write a poem(s)
then the members who aren't participating vote for their favourite one
give about a 2 weeks

one to write and another to vote

This could be harder to execute because this thread is for layout contests
