I eventually just deleted Instagram and took a break from the internet and all that for a while...this happened last July/August and I didn’t get back into kpop until last October when Shoot Out came out

Not trynna bash em' or whatever but people shouldn't rely on idols as much. Especially idols in the Kpop industry, you might think they care about you and all but they might turn out as seungri. ( I'm using him as an example since he showed how we don't truly know the people we see in M/Vs and shows )

I know. Everyone wears a mask, so are the idol's mask going to be any less? No, in fact, it's the exact opposite. They have to plaster a smile no matter how damaged they are inside.

Not to mention that even if they’re great, it’s extremely rare that they’ll actually get to meet and develop a relationship with the idol. So they need to let go of them

Honestly neither. It's good to be something in the middle; have a nice following, release good songs, make a decent amount of money, receive proper acknowledgement but not become too overhyped aswell as not too unknown either.

Yeah and then I found out from a friend that a lot of people who were upset about it were 12-14 year olds who think they’re going to marry Jungkook and they go off on anyone who even calls him “cute”
