His story is tragic but he's worked so hard to make something amazing from his Injury. He really makes me miss the music Royal Pirates used to put out!

I Encourage everyone to check out his music!

I wasn't sure where to Place this as his music is English and Rock and he's not exactly doing K-Pop/K-Rock but he is from Royal Pirates
James Lee is a Korean-American singer-songwriter, best known as a former member of the Korean-American rock band Royal Pirates.

He joined Royal Pirates in 2009 as the band’s bassist. In 2015, Lee survived a near-fatal accident that left him unable to continue playing bass. Despite this, he remained active with the group for a time, contributing on synthesizer before ultimately departing in 2017 as ongoing health issues made continued participation difficult.

After stepping away from the band, Lee gradually returned to music as a solo artist. In 2018, he released his debut solo project, The Light EP, a deeply personal work composed in the aftermath of his accident and reflecting his recovery, resilience, and renewed creative direction.
