I haven't watched either yet but my mom said sinners was alright and didn't really deserve all the hype lol, but funnily enough she loved KDH

OMG YOUR MOM IS RIGHTT
I loved KDH, but sinners was not worth the hype at all. But I like the themes and the overall story idea. People seem to praise the film for this, but just cause it touches on interesting themes... like you don't see films made with this type of story often but that doesn't mean it's good. This movie doesn’t know what it wants to be , A black drama about the struggles of black people , a musical drama , black crime drama or a horror-comedy. It's honestly just confusing at times. Personally, I didn't find it funny.
