RE9 is def the best Resident Evil since RE4, if GTA 6 doesn't drop, or if it drops and it isn't good, RE9 is DEFINITELY taking game of the year. It's practically a freebie. Pre-sweep for RE9 this year. GOTY, Voice Acting Of The Year, Game Design Of The Year, Fan Favorite Of The Year, etc. It's so good that if GTA 6 actually drops, it won't be a freebie for GOTY like everyone thought it'd be, and there will actually be some tough choices to make for the first time in a while instead of the same damn games every time and every damn year. Genuine 10/10 game. Top 5 Games of this decade so far (it's fair to say because the decade is halfway older and - wait holy moly, time flies)

They brought everybody back, like I was seriously waiting for a plot twist that Ethan was still alive cuz they were pulling all the strings to get all the characters together atp. Everybody.... BUT the freaking women 😭. WHERE'S ADA, WHERE'S CLAIRE, WHERE'S JILL, WHERE'S MY GIRLIES AT? Don't get me wrong, everybody, including me, of course, loves Leon and Chris and Sherry and Wesker and Mr. X, but like bro. If Ada or Jill popped out of the woodworks, this would've genuinely been my favorite game of all time, and Capcom would've made a billion dollars (still probably will because this game is peak and everyone loves it).

I'm not going to give any more spoilers for people who want to play it, but it's really freaking good. Like I stayed up all night playing it for 11 hours straight, no food, no bev, just raw dogging it, PAUSE. I already locked in my vote for game of the year, I don't care what comes out because I can't envision something topping this other than GTA 6, and GTA 6 might not even come out. Plus, since it's coming out in November, it might be considered for next year's awards rather than this year's anyway.
