omg ok so im here to spill the tea bc i go to her school and she walks through the school gates with this smirk on her face and im like wtf did u do why u smiling and she turns around and omg shes done a rat tail and we're at school rn and shes got this rat tail help im crying

ok y'all i went too school with a rat tail today and as you can see above my friend from school made fun of me, tbh I felt very insecure and kept my rat tail underneath the collar of my shirt and only showed my friends so i kinda didn't go full out but i loved my friends reactions
here are some slightly inaccurate quotes:
"umm it's not my style, but do whatever you want"
"wow you actually did it"
"umm, it's questionable"
"Honestly, I don't know how to feel about it"
"it's cute" (this one surprised me lmao, but both people who said it sounded genuine)
"you look like you haven't washed you hair in 7 years" (this one made me sad because it wasn't aimed at my rat tail)
"it's ugly" (low-key agree with this one)
"what if you shaved the rest of your head" (umm no, i could never at least not voluntarily)
"that's not a real rattail because the rest of your hair is the same length" (this one kinda offended me because at this point of the day I got attached to my rattail no matter how ugly it looked and i was determined to convince everyone that it counted as a rattail)

anyways so yeah that's my experience i didn't get too offended but I learned that I kinda like rattails more than i expected.
here's what it looked like, i took the photo in my pyjamas because i didn't want my uniform in the photo
(lol my mx poster in the back)
tbh i don't know if this counts as a rattail but i am not shaving my head for this and now i have an appreciation for hongjoong's rattails
