Some netizens are calling for X1 to disband following the voting fraud controversy surrounding the 'Produce X 101' series.

As headlines begin to speculate on the future of groups that were made as a result of voter fraud, many netizens are calling for X1 to disband, stating:

"Disband. It's better than to be cursed for five years..."
"It's right to disband so they suffer less from the negative reaction they're going to face."
"If there's no contract, just let them go. Let them go so they can go back to their labels and prepare to come back again."
"Everyone is just pitiful in this situation."
"I feel so bad for the boys who actually made it up there with honest votes if they end up disbanding."

It was recently revealed that the members of X1 have held back on signing exclusive CJ ENM contracts in order to monitor police investigation results.

What do you think will happen?

I feel bad for them, if they had nothing to do with the voting manipulation then they shouldn't be punished for it
at this point in time , i low-key dont know whether they should disband or not , being a one it , ive found out that most of the members of x1 are not emotionally stable (?) and im worried that they wont be able to handle all the comments and hate theyre receiving from the public. its kinda sad seeing how they werent involved in this from the start but are getting hated on . but honestly , if they disband now , i think we'll have to wait for some time before they'll get to re-debut in another group , and the group is also likely to face criticism also . its like a lose - lose situation , no one benefits from this mess . the worst part is , they wont get as much attention as they would if they were in x1 unfortunately , its rlly not the members fault , what a shame that their careers have come to this because of mnet and some other companies who were involved

You're right... It's not their fault and this makes it more sad... Let's hope things get cleared and settled soon.

Iโ€™m neutral about the whole thing. On one hand, I agree, itโ€™s not their fault that PDX101 is a snake ass *****, but on the other hand, I see where netizens are coming from; theyโ€™d rather them disband now before they get too far into it and itโ€™ll be harder down the road. The bad thing is, if they do disband, half of them wonโ€™t have a label or group to go back to, some of them will since they were in groups prior to X1 but Iโ€™m sure a lot of them are just starting out their k-pop careers (I honestly donโ€™t know much about them so someone correct me if Iโ€™m wrong lol)
