i'm trying to start stanning new groups, since i don't stan very many at the moment, but it's so hard to put names to faces. do you guys have any tips to help me recognise members more quickly?

Oohh umm Soo, Like i'm rly bad at remembering names and faces ( I litterally mixed up Hyunjin&Bangchan when I was a baby stay... iykyk... )
I don't really start recognizing members by faces, I kinda recognise them with their voice. Like Felix has a deep voice, Changbin has a higher voice,etc.
Or sometimes, when my brain is actually braining( 1/100000), I can actually remember them. It always taked time to recognize their names and faces and match them up.

For me I always find lyric videos super helpful, especially with new songs its easier for me to understand the lyrics because of those videos. Obviously smaller the group is the easier it might be.
I don't do it but I know some people like watching those line distribution videos to see what member sings what part. A lot of popular groups have them.

You just dive in… it took one video and one movie and suddenly I dropped K-pop so fast and went all-in on J-pop, no hesitation

If something clicks, I’ll dig into more of their songs, and if I end up enjoying their discography, I start learning about the members. From there it’s YouTube deep dives, watching interviews or variety content, and then following their social media so I can keep up with what they’re doing.

Honestly, I just try watching a bunch of their content, and its even more helpful if the subtitles have the names. And on reals try going to the comments, I guarantee you that there will be comments along the lines of: "Omg ___ is so handsome". I also quiz myself in group photos, I go through them and try to name them the best I can. Hope this helps

I search all the members names write them down and pick a quality of theirs i think is memorable, then i watch performances and try to place the name and afterwards i just watch youtube videos of *insert group name* moments and listen to their discography
