Me too, some of them have really sad childhoods, it obviously can't excuse what they've done but I think about how if proper systems were in place they might've been able to be contributing members of society.

Agreed! It definitely doesn’t excuse their behavior but like you said, if things had been different, they might not have grown up to murder people

That's why I advocate for mental health awareness. When I was in high school, we had a club called National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), where we'd break the stigma and stereotypes surrounding mental illnesses.

Yes! There's so many ways to help people and mental health awareness is one of the most important and helpful ways! My province just recently cut back on healthcare, including mental healthcare, nobody's happy about it.

There's been a lot of protests about it so we're hoping they change it? Regardless, this dude won't be voted back into power, he was pretty much only voted in as a joke.

Luckily our prime minister is decent in regards to mental health, but we're also coming up on election time and there's someone running who would be just like our neighbours to the south.
