Would the Republic of Korea win the Eurovision Song Contest if they send the K-pop boy group BTS to the Eurovision Song Contest ?

Given their popularity I don't think they'd be considered for participation. I've been watching Eurovision my whole life and it's mostly semi popular artists that are selected to represent their countries, or artists that are just popular in their countries. I'm not sure if it's an official rule or something. An artist could represent their country and get more popular globally afterwards; for example Celine Dion (sang for Switzerland in 1988) or Måneskin (sang for Italy in 2021).
