1. Sweet Juice (TITLE) Originally I felt this song was missing something but whatever I thought was missing was clearly a me problem, I found it, and now I'm in love with it
2. T4ke I love how this song is kinda creepy and dramatic but still so beautiful. Something about it... I need it injected into my veins
3. So Far So Good This song is soooo beautiful T-T it was my favourite track on the album during the first listen through. Their vocals are so lovely
4. agit A little bit more funky but still so enjoyable. Makes me feel like I'm a teenager in a coming of age movie
5. Autopilot I really like the song but my biggest problem with it is I have a hard time fitting it into a playlist. Because it's not energetic enough for my day songs but it's also a bit too upbeat for my evening wind down songs. I still found a home for it though lol
Bonus: Just like all their others, Save Me is an incredible intro. Though I don't think it'll get a Pretty Psycho moment because it references "purple juice" which is very specific to Sweet Juice so
REVIEW NO.8: FEARLESS - LE SSERAFIM (9/10) Requested by @chaechae.core Bias score: 3
1. Blue Flame This is one of my all time favourite bsides, and my favourite Le Sserafim song all together. There's just something about it that's SO GOOD. I also really want to learn the choreography but I'm lazy. It's so simple but so addictive and fun
2. Sour Grapes Literally gorgeous, heavenly, it's also so comforting. The instrumental is so lovely and gentle and their vocals compliment it amazingly
3. The Great Mermaid I feel like one thing that lets the song down is the vocals feel slightly overpowered by the instrumental. The instrumental is great but yeah it makes the balance kind of weird. But I still love how it's a little chic and I love the 'dive into the ocean' line
4. Fearless (TITLE) So when I first heard Fearless, I didn't love it. Then I LOVED it. Now, it's just meh again. I like the bum bum bum part at the beginning sure. It was addictive at one point but now it just feels quite empty. I don't hate it, it's still a nice listen, but yknow. It's just not special to me. Fearless also makes me worry about how Antifragile will age, because I loved Fearless right until Antifragile was released... so yeah. Guess we'll just see what the future holds
REVIEW NO.9: The Billage of Perception: Chapter 3 - Billlie (4/10) Bias score: 3
1. Extra-Ordinary This song has a good beat and I already like it more than I did at first listen. The chorus feels kinda underwhelming though. This would've been the title track if I were in control
2. Lion Heart (The Real Me) This song also has a good beat but there's something about it I'm not quite sure whether I'll warm up to or go off. All the neutral songs below and including this in this list could be taken off my playlists tbh
3. Nevertheless It has a pretty good chorus but the rest of the song is just ok
4. Various and Precious (Moment of Interia) It's fine. I liked it more the second time around but it doesn't stand out in any way
5. Enchanted Night - White Night Has some funkiness, but overall didn't stick out to me
6. EUNOIA (Title) Maybe it's because it's the title track that I had high expectations for it, but this was such a let down compared to their other title tracks. Even Ring x Ring which I don't like is more memorable than it. Though I appreciate that Billlie try different concepts frequently and this was yet a new one and it was interesting. But yeah...
I really didn't want to review this album because it's so negative but I already said I would <//3 I usually quite enjoy Billlie's bsides, to clarify, this is their first album I've found this underwhelming. Though these songs may just be growers not showers
1. Troll I actually quite liked this song. It was a little bit fun and cute and I'd love to listen to it to relax in the evening
2. Hi Spring Bye This one is so relaxing and I've put it on my sleep playlist coz it could 100% just lull me to sleep
3. Ah Puh Another quite cute one I'd love to listen to to relax in the evening
4. Coin I used to have this on a playlist, but it ended up not surviving. It's a decent song it's just not one I choose to listen to
5. My Sea My Sea falls under my 'covers curse' I'll call it, where basically the version of the song I hear first becomes the version I'm more used to and prefer. Because I heard the Girls Planet version first, I just prefer Chaehyun's vocals on the song than IU's :') I know I'm a sinner to Kpop
6. Flu It was fine but there was something about it I wasn't keen on
7. Celebrity Again, it's fine, but there's something about it I'm just not a fan of. It might be the beat drop in the post-chorus perhaps?
8. Empty Cup Again, there's just something about it that stopped me from adding it
9. Epilogue And again... something missing
10. Lilac (TITLE) Congrats, we've finally found a song I actually quite dislike. Idk what it is about this song but I just really don't like it. Unexplainable disliking. I'm sorry Kpop I just can't force myself to get behind her
Note: I know Coin and Celebrity also count as title tracks but I'm saying Lilac is the title for my sanity
1. Chico Malo This was everything I wanted out of this sub-unit. I particularly LOVE the second pre-chorus with the flute in the instrumental it's so heavenly. My only critique is it ENDS TOO ABRUPTLY. Give me the rest of the song?? Also it's kinda already aged on me a bit..
2. GGBB (TITLE) From the teasers I just knew this wasn't going to be my thing. I just KNOW me from a few years ago would've been screaming about it and eating it up, but yeah... I really like the concept, the girls were cute. But the overall sound wasn't really for me
3. LLL I'm pretty sure this was a song Solar released for her birthday, if I'm remembering correctly from what I saw on Twitter, because yeah I'm sorry 2021 me but we don't watch Solarsido anymore. I couldn't hear Moonbyul on it, and wasn't keen so I never actually got to the end to hear if she was on the track or not rip
1. Troll I actually quite liked this song. It was a little bit fun and cute and I'd love to listen to it to relax in the evening

1. Sweet & Easy Honestly I know it's bad but the only thing that holds me back with some 2nd gen songs is just the quality of the music. If it was re-recorded with modern methods it would be an easy add
2. Why So Lonely (TITLE) Again, quality lets it down. But also I just find this song kinda meh
3. Beautiful Boys Again, kinda dull and quality doesn't help
It's the way making these reviews just make me sad coz I hate telling people I'm not a fan of the songs they like, and I feel like I'm discrediting the hard work of the artists. Like damn what do you mean I have to review albums I don't like why can't I get endless albums I love to the moon and back
Just a small update but due to the fact I’ll be starting my A level revision at an intense level, I’ll have less time to do these reviews.
Albums I’m familiar with should be able to come out quickly but if there’s an album I don’t know very well I can’t be sure how long it’ll take me to review it. Thanks for understanding
I know it’s been a while, but I’ll aim to get this done today, since I want to get IVE IVE (by IVE) done today too. It’ll be much later though coz I’m spending most of today with my friends
1. Charmer This was the only song on the album I had added prior to the review - found it thanks to @LostInTheDream lol
Anyway, I really like how this song is kinda evil and feels like a snake which I think is intentional. I also like the whistles idk lol
2. MANIAC (TITLE) This review finally convinced me to add Maniac to a playlist. I guess how I felt towards Maniac originally is how people felt towards O.O. I wanted them to be two different songs. But like. The verses are so good and the chorus is so catchy. So I'm sure I can love both combined
3. Muddy Water (Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, Felix) Idk how to describe this song, but it feels like you'd hear it faintly while you were sitting in a café in the late afternoon. It was fine but overall I don't know if I'd listen to it
4. Lonely St I'm p sure I used to have this song added but I guess it's just missing something. Idk it's a nice song but it's not a song I'd probably want to listen to
5. Waiting For Us (Bang Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin, I.N) It's fine. Usually I like a good ballad but idk this one just didn't click with me
6. VENOM The verses were okay, but I don't like the instrumental
7. FREEZE I liked the verses but the chorus wasn't for me
1. Blue Blood From the snippets I'd heard before the album dropped, I had a feeling it would be a song for me. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This song feels like the sister to My Satisfaction which is another one of my favourites. This is 100% a top 3 IVE song for me. But I'm not ready to call it my favourite lol...
2. Kitsch I'm a huge fan of Kitsch. Outside of Liz's poor line distribution (made up for in I AM thank god), I just loveee this song. The verses have a pretty and gentle feel to them (I really like Wonyoung's 'ttokttokanikka' LOL), AND THEN THE CHORUS DROPS AND GRABS ME BY THE NECK IBFRNWOF. I know some people don't like the fact Kitsch isn't "kitsch" but I'm not someone who really cares about lyrics of the song sounds good. You could sing about how brocoli tastes bad and I'd be like damn this slaps
3. I AM (TITLE) The chorus had my jaw at the ground when the teaser dropped on tiktok. I just want to scream the lyrics off the top of my lungs coz it just makes me feel so powerful lol. Wonyoung jumping out the plane in the MV was kinda unhinged but that isn't part of the song so it's unimportant. I will say, what I wanted was a post-chorus with an EDM drop, one that you'd hear from the early 2010s lol. Ik that's outdated but idk I feel like IVE could've bought it back maybe...
4. LIPS I like the slight tropical sound it has to it but it's also just a gentle listen so there's not much to dislike
5. Not Your Girl It's so fun and has a similar tropical feel to LIPS but a bit more cute. I feel like it would be a montage song for a teenage summer lol
6. Shine With Me Love a good dramatic ballad. I could defo see myself sobbing to this on a day where I feel sad and need a cry. I also put it on my sleep playlist but idk if it's too intense for sleep. Guess we'll find out soon
6. Hypnosis I like the slightly evil and creepy sound it has but it also sounds kinda sassy
7. Next Page Idk it's cute and relaxing, I could see myself unwinding in the evening to it. But it's not special
8. MINE A gentle listen, not really anything special though
10. CHERISH Idk it doesn't scratch my brain how I want it to. I dunno how long it'll last on my playlist tbh
11. HEROINE I really just don't like the "oh na na na na" part and the rest of the song isn't interesting enough to make up for it
I really love my IVE girlies, and have always mentally defended them against their antis (I don't get in real fanwars fr) but like... idk if anyone else got the same feeling from this album but it feels like 70% filler songs. Most of them feel very samey to the others, but don't have anything that makes them stand out individually. If I were Starship, honestly the tracklist would've been Blue Blood, Kitsch and I AM, either LIPS or Not Your Girl, either Hypnosis or Heroine, either Next Page, Mine or CHERISH and then Shine With Me. Quality > quantity fr
REVIEW NO.15: READY TO BE - TWICE (7/10) Requested by: @chaechae.core Bias score: 4
1. CRAZY STUPID LOVE There's just something about this song that is so beautiful but so sad and it just has me wrapped around its finger. Love it
2. SET ME FREE (TITLE) It's one of my favourite of the post Fancy title tracks. Is it on the level of the Fancy or Feel Special? No. But it's fun. I like the sort of y2k (?) sound it has. Idk my concepts tbh
3. BLAME IT ON ME I listened to it early and it's been stuck in my head. It just goes so hard. Badass
4. WALLFLOWER It's a little generic but it's still a vibe and has also been stuck in my head. Dance with me dance with me
5. GOT THE THRILLS I didn't have it added and I think it's coz it's giving me mixed messages. Is it calm? Is it upbeat? IDK. But I added it to a playlist anyway
6. MOONLIGHT SUNRISE I guarentee you don't got me. I just find this song quite bland and it hits in all the wrong ways... Ironically, the "I guarentee I got ya" line is the only part I like so. There ya go. The verses are ok though
